Misty Moraine That's the trademark for the artisan cheese and goat milk soap that I produce on my 40-acre farm near the Kettle Moraine. It's a beautiful, magical place that I love living in through all of our Wisconsin seasons. The French, the Swiss and other Europeans have long understood the concept of "terroir"--that wine, cheese, or other food produced on a certain farm is unique because it is "of this place." The soil, farming techniques (biodynamic is what I'm striving for), weather, and geographic history all contribute to the special sense of place.
