Madison Considering I've lived in the Madison area for a long time now, it must be the beautiful balance between urban infrastructure and old-town charm found in downtown Madison that makes the city so wonderful.
The fact that there are older shops and stores in the city while at the same time having Monona Terrace, with it's wonderful stark-white lined with bright lights reflecting off the waterfront, is a symbol of fine artistry.
All of these things combined makes Madison have a very 'homey' feeling.
